Many children can start simple electronics (LEDs, buzzers, buttons) around Class 3–5 with live supervision. Line-followers, obstacle-avoiding bots, and Arduino capstones fit better once they can follow wiring and basic code logic — often Class 6+. You do not need a large kit on day one.
